Amicus uses state of the art music technology to enable children to fully express themselves musically despite having physical disibilities.

We make extensive use of a fantastic piece of kit called the MIDIcreator.

The MIDIcreator unit operates by changing information from sensors and switches into musical notes. Using one of the many plug-in sensors available you can play notes, chords, step through sequences or simply connect to MIDI and control a whole world of possibilities. The sensors, which can detect everything from a squeeze to rolling on the floor, can be switches with a simple on/off action or special proportional models providing lots of levels between on and off.

The sensors available for the MIDIcreator are wonderful for people with disabilities because they allow one to play the full range of notes and chords with minimal physical movement.
